The Collection Quilt (Block of the Month)

The Collection Quilt is an exploration of shape and color in a 9-part series. Have fun building skill, as well as gaining confidence and comfort with hand appliqué. Each part starts with a discussion about technique as well as color, and is followed by instructions, illustrations and photographs, as well as 6 bonus projects where blocks are used.
Collection comes packaged as one unit which can be sold as-is OR it is easily disassembled to be kitted up into a monthly program.
Fabrics in cover project are from Robert Kaufman. More information regarding those fabrics can be obtained by sending us a note at info(at)carolynfriedlander(dot)com. Fabrics are also listed by color, making selections easily adaptable.

- Project size: w. 40 1/2″ x h. 51 1/2″ (+ 6 bonus projects)
- Techniques: basic piecing, needle-turn appliqué (Can use another appliqué technique if desired.)
- Skill level: This project is intended to grow your skills. First blocks are beginner friendly, and as your skills grow, so do the block challenges.
